Wholey Moley, what a difference a week makes! 🙌 We now have framed-up internal walls, and it’s incredible to see this dream come to life! A massive shout-out to Baxter and the amazing crew at DLR—you guys are absolutely smashing it out of the park.

Seeing these walls up and being able to walk through the space has been a game changer—it makes everything feel so real. This milestone is a reminder of all the hard work, dedication, and community support that’s brought us to this point. Every framed wall is a step closer to providing the children of Exmouth with a nurturing, inspiring place to grow and learn. 🏡💖

🏗️ Build Update Time! 🚧

Big changes are happening at Exmouth Early Learning Centre! One of our major front walls has come down to make way for beautiful glass sliders that will lead from the babies’ room to their own private play area. 🌟

The DLR crew are also busy framing up the art room, setting the stage for future creativity and fun! Plus, the new pad for our Stage 2 toddler room extension has been poured, thanks to the generous support from the state government’s REDS grant. 🙌

We’re so grateful for the community support as we build this incredible space for Exmouth’s little ones. Stay tuned for more progress updates!

What a lovely morning we had at the Children’s weeks celebration.
Exmouth ELC was proud to be a sponsor of this “Sensory Celebration” event for the children in our community.

Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills.

Sensory play is an important part of childhood and, there are no limits to what you can use in sensory activities!

We would love to acknowledge all the hard work of the volunteers who made this event a success. We also would like to thank Ashley & Jess from the Shire of Exmouth, Jade from the Library, Deb from Lil squids, Keshi from Centacare, Bri & Kylie from Playgroup, and the ladies from Toy Library. Together we put on a fantastic event!

Exciting News for Exmouth Families! Thanks to the

Exciting News for Exmouth Families!

Thanks to the generosity of the State Government and the Regional Economic Development Grant, Exmouth ELC will now be able to work towards achieving service approval to offer Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in 2025! 🎉

This funding will support the opening of our new childcare facility, ensuring we are ready to provide quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in early 2025. Exmouth ELC will be the only childcare provider in town moving forward, with four new classrooms to increase placements and with future plans to introduce the much-needed OSHC service to Exmouth.

We are so grateful for this support and can’t wait to bring these expanded services to the Exmouth community!

Exciting progress is underway at Exmouth Early Learning Centre! 🎉 Our incredible builders at DLR, led by Bardy and his talented team, have officially started setting up the site parameters and cutting concrete. We’re one step closer to making our dream for the Exmouth community a reality!

We are thrilled to announce that Exmouth Early Learning Centre has officially received Development Approval! A huge thank you to the Shire of Exmouth for their support in making this dream a reality.

Over the next couple of months, we’ll be finalising the last details before we break ground and start construction! We can’t wait to bring this incredible new space to life for the children and families of our community.

Did you know Exmouth ELC has expressions of interest open now!
We will be catering for ages between 0 and 5 years of age.

Infants
The littlest members of our centre will have dedicated, caring educators. Our aim is to build attachments with each child in a safe and nurturing environment. Our daily goal for each child is to help develop the whole child; socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually.

Toddlers
The curriculum for our inquisitive toddlers will be play-based on their interest while having high expectations for their learning. Building trusting relationships and working on language and communication in a fun and safe environment which allows for exploration.

PreK
Offering learning experiences that foster creativity and self-expression. While free play is our base, encouraging the children to engage in more structured activities and group games will assist in building relationships with other children.

Kindy
Preparing our children for their formal schooling years, our Kindy program at EELC sets your child up for a successful transition to “big school.” With a focus on building resilience, caring for belongings and being a kind, caring person. Our program also provides preparation for school through a play-based curriculum. Having regular excursions that immerse our children into our community will be a large part of the Kindy program.
